Bakery Assistant

Germany is internationally known for its rich bread and pastry culture. Bakeries across the country are seeking motivated individuals to support production, sales, and customer service. This position offers a hands-on work environment in a traditional yet evolving craft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation of bread, rolls, cakes, and pastries

  • Measuring ingredients, kneading dough, operating baking equipment

  • Monitoring baking processes and ensuring product quality

  • Keeping the baking area clean and hygienic

  • Packaging and labeling bakery goods

  • Supporting front-of-house sales and customer service (if assigned to a store location)

Requirements:

  • Interest in baking and food production

  • Ability to follow hygiene rules and quality standards

  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina (early morning shifts common)

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team

  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays

  • German language skills at level B1 or higher (language training provided by AW-Recruiting)
